CHAN and CAN: Studiotech Belgium AV supplier for CRTV (Cameroon Radio Television)

The African Nations Championship (CHAN), organised by the Confederation of African Football (CAF), was postponed from 2020 to January and February 2021 due to the pandemic crisis. On 7 February 2021, Morocco won this tournament by outclassing Mali 2-0 in the Yaoundé final, thus retaining the title.

Throughout the competition, Cameroon Radio Television, made full use of its new audiovisual equipment provided by Studiotech Belgium.

To this end, Studiotech supplied CRTV with a cab/trailer production system of 20 + 2 cameras in flight cases. The unit comprises a Mercedes Actros 3340 cab and an 88 m³ trailer with an 88 kVA generator and a 45 kVA UPS inverter.

Alongside CRTV engineers, Studiotech also contributed to the training of Cameroonian operators, thus ensuring media coverage of the highly successful opening and closing ceremonies of this recent international football competition.

The entire Studiotech infrastructure acquired for Yaoundé will be fully utilised during the next Africa Cup of Nations (CAN), which will take place in Cameroon from 15 January to 28 February, 2022 (postponed from 2021), with seven ultra-modern stadiums being dedicated to this competition.
